TENDER- I

NAME OF PROJECT: Proposed Bishops house, Administrative Block and Staff Quarters in plot under S No. 27- 5/2  of Mouje Oros (BR) Taluka Kudal, District Sindhudurg for Diocese of Sindhudurg.

A) The Bishops House: This unit is designed as a ground and one storey building placed on the south eastern side of the plot, as indicated in the site plan. The ground floor houses and entrance porch leading to a lounge, Parlour, Secretary’s office, Administration, Bishops office, all with attached toilets,  Three self contained guest rooms  , A Prayer hall , Dining area and Kitchen with a store. On the First floor is accommodated a lounge, Bishops room with attached toilet and a self contained guest room.

LABOUR RATE TENDER

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT

  1. This unit is a ground and one storey building placed on the south eastern side of the plot, as indicated in the site plan . Detail plans are  enclosed.
  2. The total cost of construction shall be quoted on labour basis per square metre as per the works in (B) . The rates shall include all taxes as applicable. In case any extra works beyond the scope of the building than the Labour Item rates shall be computed at actual cost as certified by the Architect.
  3. The Contractor shall employ his own watchman/security for works and materials on site construct a shed for storage of materials. Arrangement for water supply, shall be made by the Contractor and the cost of shall be borne by the Owner.
  4. The Contractor shall complete the civil works in his scope within a period of  12 months after issue of work order so as to handover to the other agencies.
  5. The work has to be carried out as per specifications and Bills shall be submitted stage wise as per the schedule of payments. Payments shall be made after inspection on site on due certifying by the Architect.
  6. The Contractor shall before making any variations from the contract drawings intimate and obtain written consent from the Architect.
  7. The Item/labour rates shall be valid for the period of the completion of the project and there shall be no escalation.
  8. The Committee/Owner has to right to reject or accept some items in total or part.
  9. The bill amount shall be paid within 15 days of submission of the bill after certification by the Architect.
  10. A retention amount 5% interest free shall be deducted from every running bill, commencing from the second running bill submitted by the Contractor. A 2.5% shall be paid on virtual completion of the project and the balance 2.5% on completion of one monsoon season.
  11. A mobilization advance amount shall be paid to the Contractor.
  12. The Final Payment shall be adjusted /made as per the Built up area certified by the Architect before handing over.
  13. The Owner is not bound to accept the lowest Tender. The Owner reserves to right to accept or reject the tender without giving reason for the same.
  14. The contract shall be as per norms laid down by the Indian Institute of Architects.


(B) The Quoted rate shall include:

  1. Providing a storage shed for material at site
  2. Fixing of side rail and Line out of building
  3. Excavation for all footings and masonry
  4. Rubble Packing for footings, plinth and as required.
  5. P.C.C. in foundation and plinth
  6. Masonry in foundation
  7. Earth filling in plinth and compacting etc.
  8. R.C.C. in foundation
  9. All R.C.C. works in superstructure for columns, beams, slabs, lintels etc as such and RCC works including shuttering material.
  10. Steel Bending, tying, placing, curing , de-shuttering of all RCC works
  11. Masonry in superstructure
  12. Plastering of all walls internal and external.
  13. Fixing of Door and Window frames as required provided by the Owner.

All the above works shall include curing, scaffolding and taxes as applicable.

TENDER II

The Contractor shall quote the following basic rates of materials for the execution of the works
